“A Numbers Game” – News feature about the popularity of the game Sudoku on campus.
“Flights of Fantasy” – Feature article about the Gamers on Campus club’s regular meetings to play the game Dungeons and Dragons.
“Fortunate Turn of Events” – News article about a student appearing on Wheel of Fortune.
“Not Your Average Nerd” – Profile on the president of the Gamers on Campus club. This was one of a series of articles on campus leadership.
“Natural Selection” – Column about a controversial new museum exhibit examining homosexual behavior in animals.
“Even-Spirited” – Column about the craziness of holiday decorations.
“Talking Trash” – Column on students who dominate every class discussion.
“Don’t Be Afraid of Halloween” – Column encouraging students to wear costumes to school.
This is a retired food blog, which I started post-college to showcase my favorite desserts in and around my hometown.
I was the first runner-up in the 2011 “The Worst Storyline Ever” contest, which is a humorous online contest for writers created by writer/editor Chuck Sambuchino, who creates the Guide to Literary Agents.
